The little touches like cookies made us feel welcomed.
During our stay, noise from the surrounding nightlife was overwhelming, making it impossible to rest. Despite the comfortable apartment, the soundproofing left much to be desired as the crowds and yelling continued late into the night. We also encountered difficulties with accessing the property, requiring multiple door codes that were inconvenient.

Consider bringing your own bath sheet for extra comfort. The hotel's location near nightlife may not suit everyone, so plan accordingly for a restful night.

The hotel is located on a noisy street, with sounds resembling a nightclub piercing through the walls until the early hours. not ideal for restful nights. Access is only via stairs, making it inconvenient for those with mobility issues. The room setup had some quirks, including multiple door codes which added confusion, and a broken plug socket behind the TV, hinting at potential safety concerns. the absence of a proper area to sit and get ready was frustrating, as was navigating intermittent internet connectivity which kept cutting out. these issues added up to a less-than-pleasant experience despite a few redeeming qualities.

I loved how clean the room was and the fact that they had plenty of spare towels and appliances. The cozy sun terrace was a great spot to relax after a long day, and enjoyed sipping coffee there. While it did get a little warm at night, the fan made it nice and comfortable, so overall no worries! 😊

The location proves challenging for restful sleep, surrounded by bustling nightlife that creates noise disturbances late into the night. While the apartment was impeccably clean and featured a comfortable bed, the lack of soundproofing made it hard to unwind. the convoluted access with multiple door codes added to the inconvenience. having a small kitchen was a plus as it allowed for self-catering options, and the homemade sweets provided were a delightful touch.

Comfortable Stay with Great Accessibility
I enjoyed my stay, especially the clean and well-equipped bathroom that had cute signage. The location was fantastic for exploring Colchester, and I loved the little touches like cookies and coffee facilities. access to the rooms could be improved, as navigating the ground floor passage wasn’t the most pleasant, especially in the rain.

Just loved our stay! The deluxe room was really nice with lots of spare towels and perfectly clean. It had a lovely smell, and even though it got a bit warm, the fan helped keep us comfortable. Plus, being above a fantastic pizza shop was a great bonus with a discount we appreciated!
It was a bit noisy outside at times.

Couples should seriously consider it
The bed was incredibly comfortable and honestly, I had such a good night's sleep!
It wasn’t exactly affordable, but still reasonable for what you get.
